In Q2 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Ghana demonstrated diverse performance metrics. According to Sensor Tower data, here’s a closer look at the trends for Bolt: Request a Ride, Yango: taxi, food, delivery, Uber - Request a ride, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver, and Shaxi.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a steady flow of weekly downloads, starting at approximately 6.1K at the beginning of April and peaking at around 6.7K in mid-June. The app also saw a significant number of weekly active users, fluctuating between 55.9K and 65.7K throughout the quarter.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery experienced consistent weekly downloads, beginning at roughly 3.5K and slightly decreasing to 3.2K by the end of June. The weekly active users for Yango remained relatively stable, hovering around 18K for most of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 2.4K in early April and dropping to 1.7K by the end of June. However, the app maintained a high number of weekly active users, generally around 93K to 98K throughout the period.
